Hi everyone! We recently shared with you our renewed commitments for the Archer and Olive Quarterly Subscription. The subscription program has truly pushed the team to grow and learn so much in the past few years, and with the latest customer feedback we have been able to apply this to our processes to ensure we bring you the best experiences each quarter.
Here is a quick reminder of the commitments going forward:
- We confirmed the expectations of the box, letting you know that boxes will contain unique and exclusive items, at least two notebooks and tools for journaling and creativity. Subscribers also receive a special coupon code each quarter.
- Following our survey feedback, we will be doing away with the sneaky experience for good. Instead, we will be sending an opt-in image that represents the theme and reveals some products. Our survey identified the large majority of subscribers would like to see 3-4 products to assess their interest in the box each quarter. We hope this new delivery method will alleviate any stress, allow people to better avoid spoilers and provide information to confirm your interest in the theme while preserving the excitement and mystery a subscription offers.
- We will no longer be offering the option to pause or skip, as it is becoming harder to predict inventory. If you decide you would like to pass on a box for any reason, you are able to cancel your subscription at any time. If you later decide you would like the box, you can resubscribe when it’s open to new customers, while supplies last.
So following those commitments, today we will be showing you FOUR items in the upcoming September 2023 Vintage Library Subscription Box. Scroll for spoilers!
[Reveal image]
The image shows four of the nine items in the September 2023 Subscription Box. Here’s a little more information about each item.
BUCKRAM A5 NOTEBOOK
The first item is a gorgeous A5 Buckram Notebook. Buckram is a coated cotton that has covered library books and encyclopedias for decades due to its durability and versatility. This full cover design was created using hot foil stamping in two colors: navy and pearl. It features 192 pages with our classic Archer and Olive 160gsm dot grid paper.
VINTAGE LIBRARY WASHI TAPE
The next item is a Set of 4 Washi Tape, featuring stacks of books, gold stars, book stamps and labels. Not only is this set of washi tape beautiful, but they are also functional. Use them for your vintage library themes, reading journals and book review spreads.
VINTAGE LIBRARY CALLIOGRAPHS
The versatility and finish of our Calliographs are the perfect match for this box. The palette was curated with current and new colors to help you create that timeless vintage library feeling in your spreads.
MEMO PAD
Every book has a rich history, and before digital record keeping you could get a glimpse of a library book’s history by looking at the checkout card in the front inside pocket. This memo pad includes 48 sheets of 180gsm paper in three soft colors.
And remember, this is just the beginning! Some of our very favorites will be a surprise to all.
We hope this reveal has sparked your excitement for the box, and that you are looking forward to it arriving in September.

Ah, this box is everything! I’m so excited!
I love this! I had a feeling there would be something related to old school checkout cards, so I love the memo pad and the notebook is beautiful. And I’m a fan of calliographs. Can’t wait to get this in the mail and see the rest!
This is the most excited I’ve been about the subscription box all year, perfect for fall! Cannot wait!
This is everything my bookish heart could desire. September 1st can’t get here fast enough!
So excited! I was bummed to miss some of the fall release book accessories so I’m thrilled about the book washi :)
Wow I am so excited for this box!!!
I love this so much! I can’t wait to receive it!
Oh my word, this is beautiful! I absolutely love it and will be waiting with bated breath for when this goes on sale to new subscribers, I must have it!!
Squee! I can’t wait for this box to arrive. Of course, since the sneak peek items all fit in wonderfully with my favorite color pallet, and I’m a library nerd, I may be a bit biased.
