10 Boredom Busting Journal Prompts For Your Bullet Journal

by Design Team 19 Jul 2021 0 Comments

Hey-lo! It’s Marsha from Do You Salut! I’m really excited about today’s post! Growing up my tv time was limited so reading and writing  (and board games) were pretty much what I did for fun. I love asking my friends questions and scenarios. Perhaps I was an author in my past life! We’re going to explore 10 journal prompts to blast away your boredom!

Recommended Supplies:

Archer and Olive A5 dot grid notebook or B6 notebook

Pen or pencil

supplies

Optional supplies:

Acrylograph pens  or markers to spice up the page

Washi tape or stickers

Prompt 1: Poem

Write a poem only using words that begin with the first letter of your first and last name. For example my poem would only use words that begin with the letter “M” and “H”.

(This prompt was inspired by a book I’m reading called “A void” by Georges Perec. The book doesn’t use any words that use the letter “e”!)

Prompt 2:  The Door

You’re walking in a meadow and suddenly a door appears. Describe the door (the color, the design, the door knob). What’s behind the door?

Prompt 3: The Movie of your life

Write the opening line of a movie about your life? What are the songs in the soundtrack of the movie? What’s the plot of the movie?

Prompt 4: The Only One in The World

You wake up and realize that you are the only person in the world. What do you do?

(This prompt was inspired by the move “2 Alone in Paris”. It’s a French comedy.)

You are a statue in a city park. Which park are you in? Describe what you see in : the Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.
