In this post, I'll walk you through creating a beautiful and functional monthly spread using The Everyday Theme Kit, covering everything from the monthly cover page, to the calendar view, and your first week. Let's dive in and make this month your most organized yet!
Antique Floral Everyday Theme Kit

First up, the themed kit! This is the Antique Floral Everyday Kit and it comes with everything you need to create a cohesive theme in your planner or bullet journal. This kit includes 2 washi tape designs, 5 unique sticker sheets including functional and decorative elements, 8 sheets of collage papers, a clear binder sleeve for organizing, and vintage stamp stickers as the bonus item. This standalone vintage floral kit is great to take the guesswork out of planning and create a really beautiful theme for your journal.
Majestic Skies Dated Planner

The Archer & Olive Dated Planner is a high-quality planning tool featuring 160 GSM thick paper, perfect for creative decoration without bleed-through. It is structured with three key functional sections: a Yearly Overview (or Year-at-a-Glance) for big-picture future planning and key dates; detailed Monthly Spreads that include goal-setting dashboards and a two-page calendar grid for major event scheduling; and Weekly Spreads, typically in a vertical format, designed for daily task management and detailed scheduling. This planner effectively blends the structure of a dated calendar with the flexibility and creative space of a bullet journal.
Monthly Cover Page

The monthly cover page acts as both a divider and a functional dashboard, featuring a quick-reference mini calendar for instant date checks. Each month in the dated planner is uniquely differentiated by a new design and comes paired with a dedicated theme doodle page perfect to pick your theme with different stickers from the Everyday Kit or even use those collage papers to create a fun scrapbook look.
Month at a Glance

The dated planner has an empty space to start off the month and it is a perfect spot for a month at a glance page! This is great for an overview of the upcoming month and anything important you want to do or remember right in one spot. There is a to-do list, monthly goals, events, birthdays, notes, and anything for the next month. I created this free month a glance printable that can easily be added into your journal for any month to track your important dates and events.
Monthly Spread

The monthly calendar spread in the dated planner offers a comprehensive month at a glance view spanning two full pages. Decorate the pre-printed date and day grid easily using the included kit, which provides matching covers to unify the theme. Each month includes a sidebar for monthly goals, notes, or lists. The kit also comes with functional icon stickers to highlight major events, appointments, due dates, bills, and any other plans. Here in the monthly section is a great way to use that Everyday Theme kit and get creative with the decorating by using the washi tapes, stickers, and collage papers.
Weekly Spread

Finally in the dated planner we will highlight the weekly pages. This planner features a vertical layout with columns for each day and a bigger section for the weekend. You can use this many ways to track daily habits, appointments, tasks, meal plans, and so much more. The themed sticker kit can also be used for the weekly spread as it comes with so many elements to continue that theme throughout each week of the month. It brings a cohesive, decorative, and functional look to your weekly pages, helping you segment your time while maintaining a beautiful aesthetic. Throughout the weekly spread I like to use date covers, checklists, small icons, or decorative boxes to highlight bigger events.

Ultimately, a themed planner kit is your secret weapon for making planning simple and stunning. By utilizing those color-coordinated date covers, patterned washi, and functional stickers, you ensure your spreads are both beautifully cohesive and completely organized.
