About Archer & Olive

Our Story

Archer & Olive is a stationery company that creates a space for anyone who wants to support their own mental wellness through journaling and creativity. It all began when A&O Founder Bonnie Kuhl discovered the importance of art and journaling on her own personal mental health journey.

Our Mission

Our mission at Archer & Olive is two-fold. Firstly, to create purposeful products and experiences to improve mental health through creativity. Secondly, to invite art and creativity into the conversation about mental health in the wellness world (even for those who don't consider themselves creative).

Our Promise

As a small business in the USA, we understand the significance of how and where you spend your money. We create high quality, ethically-made, eco-friendly products and strive to offer experiences that match. We can't be perfect, but we can usually make it right and we will definitely try.

BONNIE'S STORY


"Art and Journaling have forever changed the way I experience the world around me. My journey started in university when I received a life-changing diagnosis. After learning I had bipolar disorder and general anxiety disorder, I struggled to navigate the day to day while prioritizing my own mental health. Paired with doctor-prescribed treatment and therapy, intentional creation through art and journaling have enabled me to reduce my anxiety and feel more in control of my mental health. After experiencing my own transformation, I set out to share this with as many people as possible. It won’t magically make problems or a diagnosis disappear, but creativity is a powerful tool you can use to manage your mental health every day, even if you don't consider yourself to be creative."
