5 Ways to Use the Archer and Olive Kit Club

by Ambassador Team 31 May 2025 0 Comments

Hi friend! Elizabeth from @thejoyfulsojourn on InstagramYouTube, and TikTok, to show you how the Archer & Olive kit club can be used in 5 different spreads and planner styles! No matter the notebook size or planner layout you’re using, this monthly kit can help you create a cohesive look on paper - without sacrificing your joy in creative play!

What is the kit club? It is a subscription service that delivers a fresh batch of seasonally on-point decorative elements to your door every month. Arriving in the happiest of mail envelopes, you can already get a sense for what the color and theme will be. Opening it up, you’ll find 5 sticker sheets, 8 collage papers (4 designs), 2 washi tape designs (2 meters each), and a bonus stationery item, all gathered together in an A5 6-hole punched pouch that can pop easily into the Archer & Olive sticker keeper binder.

Check out the kit club webpage to learn more, and to subscribe today!

Supplies used are entirely up to you – grab your kit club envelope and any other decorative elements you may want to use to further customize your pages!

  • Any sized journal or planner – the kit club’s papers are B6 size, but in the examples below you’ll see how I use them in A5 and B5 sized notebooks!
  • Pens – in the samples below I used stickers for big dates, but Calliograph or Acrylograph pens would be great alternatives!
  • Stamps – Mix that media baby! I am a huge fan of stamping on collage papers, and layering stickers on top of stamps! There are no rules here.
  • Tools! My personal favorite is the ruler/stencil – I use it every single day!

Kit Club Way #1 – Make a Daily Page

Daily planning page with scraps of paper and stickers, in an A5 notebook.

In this first example, I’m using the kit club to create a simple daily page in my A5 notebook.

I first ripped a piece of collage paper and glued it to the top corner of the page. On top of that, I layered the largest sticker I could find. I then stamped the date on a coordinating color of collage paper, and glued that on top. Finishing off the date corner, I added the day of the week sticker beside the date.

This particular kit was May 2024, and the ‘bonus’ item was a sticky note pad with ‘to do list’ formatting. Don’t sleep on those sticky notes! Whenever you see a sticky note pad, see a bunch of individual stickers that can add formatting to your page. In the example above, I glued the entire sticky note down to act as my to-do list for the day, and then added lines along the side for additional notes and thoughts for the day.

Kit Club Way #2 – Making a Horizontal Weekly Layout

Days of the week in a horizontal layout.

I am a huge fan of the horizontal weekly layout, with all my days on the left page and a lot of creative and functional space on the right page. First I drew lines to create a row for each day of the week (5 boxes per day if you’re in the A5 size), then I dated it with stamps and day of the week stickers. On days that I didn’t anticipate being as busy, I added additional decorative stickers from the May 2024 kit club.

The right page of this layout is a free-for-all. Whatever you need it to be, make it so! And that’s where the kit club shines! I laid down ripped collage paper for added dimension, and glued down an entire sheet of taupe collage paper with dot grid to write on for the week. I added stickers for fun, and ripped up the bonus sticky note item, gluing it down to make a shopping list for the week.

Kit Club Way #3 – Decorating Your Monthly Title Page

March cover page made with stickers and scrap paper.

If you bujo or use the Archer & Olive planner, you likely have a monthly title page! This is a fun page that sets the tone for your upcoming month. Use the kit club to junk journal and collage all over the page! There are no rules here – whatever feels right, go for it! For those in the A&O planner, your title page may have a quote or an image on it. That’s ok! Use large stickers and collage paper to cover it up if desired.

Kit Club Way #4 – Decorating Your Monthly Layout

For a totally cohesive monthly, use your kit in the monthly layout! There’s something gratifying about the movement from your monthly title page, to your coordinated monthly layout.

There are stickers in the kit club to decoratively date each day of the month, as well as the days of the week at the top!

Have fun with the different boxes and headers! If you have margin around the outside of your layout as I do in this B5 sized planner, add decorative quotes and boxes “wonky” along the outer perimeter!

Kit Club Way #5 – Decorating Your Vertical Weekly Layout

If the vertical planner layout is more your style, the kit club has you covered! Because the collage paper is lighter weight than the usual 160gsm paper, you can feel good about gluing it down into your planner pages without adding too much bulk. I wanted a scrappy look this week, so layered papers and a sticker in the ‘notes’ section.

I used kit club washi tape and the week day stickers to date each day, and used the long banner stickers to create an anchor for my ‘top 3’ section of each day.

Whether you’re someone who makes your own spreads from scratch, or uses a pre-printed planner, the Archer & Olive kit club has all the elements to create fun and cohesive spreads across all your pages!

Horizontal planner spread using kit club elements

In the very first example I shared one of my favorite layouts for daily pages. I don’t like to overly label or section out my daily page, because I know each day will hold it’s own challenges and needs.

Below you’ll find a sample of a minimalist daily page you can print and place in your notebook, supplementing with whatever headers and date stickers you like from this month’s kit club.

You can also just use it as a layout template for how to utilize your kit club elements. Place larger decorative elements in the upper left corner, and add the date. Below that, a bulleted section  for to do’s, shopping lists, or even hourly schedule. And on the right side, open journaling lines for additional tasks, thoughts, or notes for the day. Bracket the page off by adding decorative elements to the lower right corner!

If you’d like to see how each of these spreads came together, check out the YouTube video below!
