How To Create Modern Floral Banner Illustration
Hello friends, Adrienne from @studio80design here today to share a fun and easy modern floral banner tutorial you can use in your bullet journal! The great thing about this banner is it uses simple geometric shapes and it's really easy to learn how to draw!
Materials you'll need:
The first step is to draw three rectangles on your page of your Dot Grid Notebook with the bullet tip of a black Dual Brush Pen. The grid makes it super easy to draw symmetrical rectangles, such a time-saver!
Next, draw diagonal lines to connect each of the three rectangles.
Now we're going to finish the shape of the banner by drawing the top and bottom end.
Draw in the shading lines to shade the areas of the banner that are in the background. This gives your banner some dimension!
Write in your saying--I wrote "Thankful and grateful" with each word getting it's own rectangle. I also chose to draw in some loose florals on two of the corners to add in some extra detailing.
I love this banner because its modern and easy to draw! I love the graphic details of the black and white together.
