Let's Get Into The Process for Creating This Goal-Setting Page
I kicked things off by using a few washi tapes to create layers on the base of the page. I pulled out some of my favourite ones from the sets listed above that matched well with the layout I had in mind.
I then create a beautiful pocket with the Soft Nature Collage Pad to pop in our Goal-Setting Journal Cards for the quarter. Honestly, the colors of this collage paper pad were the jumping off point for the tones of this layout - the soft greens really spoke to me and I love how versatile the papers are.
Let's check out the process video to see how it all came together:-
I absolutely loved trimming some of the muted papers in the collage paper pad, and embossing them with Gold embossing powder to create lines.
When it came to decorating the journal cards, I thought about which sticker sheets would work best for this. The Snowdrops and Soft Nature stickers were perfect for decorating these cards.
I absolutely love how they turned out. The gold embossing has to be one of my favourite things of all time! In my mind, this always elevates a project and I feel like I have finally found the perfect shade of gold - this has taken me years if I am honest!
I then added three layers of ribbons, along with two stickers as tags to bring it all together. I also added an embossed label, foam numbers and more alpha stickers to create the label. These ivory and clean sans serif gold foil print has got to be one of my favourite things!
All in all I love how beautiful this came together! The greens really sing “fresh new start “ to me and are perfect to usher in the New Year!
Now tell me, would you create a Goal setting page in your planner or journals?
I have this love free printable with a goal tracker to help you keep track of your goals for the new year. I hope it is a helpful resource for you. I can even be printed at 3x4 inch cards to fit in to your pocket as well.
It has been amazing being here with you today! I would love to connect with you on socials. You may find me on Instagram at instagram.com/nehlan.has.a.plan and YouTube at youtube.com/@nolanalynch
