How To Doodle Your Favorite Winter Drinks

by Content Team 14 Oct 2022 3 Comments

Hey, Masha here from Masha Plans. And today, we’ll be creating something super fun and cozy.

With the weather getting colder, I thought it’d be a fun idea to make a list of my favorite hot winter (and Fall) drinks.

I feel like we always get into a routine of having certain types of beverages that we often forget to change things with the changing seasons.

So this is kind of my bucket list, but how cozy hot drinks.

SUPPLIES

Here is what we’ll be using for this little project today.

  • Archer and Olive journal. Of course, they are the best, and I don’t think I use any other journals at this point. And I like having a separate journal for little fun pages.
  • Monthly Kit. I love those and how easy it is to create complete monthly themes using them.
  • Pen and fineliners. I’m using my favorite Zebra Mildliners, of course, and some Karin Brushmarkers Pro for coloring the tutorials.

And remember that if you want to get anything from Archer and Olive, you can use my affiliate code MASHA10, which will give you 10% off your order.

PREPARATION STAGE

Of course, the secret to a successful page is preparation.

Let’s prepare then, so we don’t forget any of the delicious drinks.

Yup, the first step is to make a link to your favorite hot drinks and maybe some recipes.

The next step is, of course, doodles.

I know I used a lot of stickers, but I wanted to share with you some tutorials because we don’t all have stickers, but following a tutorial, we all can doodle.

And with these cuties, you’ll be able to make your page look lovely without any extra supplies.

CREATE THE PAGE

Now that we’ve done all the prep work, it’s time to create.

You know my process; I always start with a pencil sketch first.

It’s a great way to avoid mistakes and ensure that the information on your page is well-balanced and centered.

Once that is done - time to take the pen and make the page.

Usually, I start with the pen, then add color, and as a final step, I add washi tape and stickers. It’s a fun way to balance the space with some stickers in case there are some errors with the spacing.

And just like that, you have your page done!

PLAN WITH ME

Of course, if you want to see my process in more detail, you can always check out my Plan With Me video.

I hope you had fun watching it!

FREEBIE

There is a freebie here for you, of course.

This is a little list of your favorite drinks. So if you don’t want to create your own, you can always just use this one to remember to enjoy your favorite drinks this season.
