Planning For Baby: The Bujo Spread You Need If You're Pregnant

by Guest Blogger 03 Apr 2021 0 Comments

Hello friends, Adrienne from @studio80design here to share the bullet journal spread you need if you're expecting a baby! I'm currently pregnant and have a few more weeks until my little one arrives, and I am in full blown nesting mode! These pages will help you keep track of everything you want to get done and pack in your bags for the hospital! Let's get started!

Tools you'll need:

Step 1

For these two bullet journal spreads, I'm going to put them side by side with a floral illustration in the middle. To begin, take a light pink Tombow Dual Brush Pen and draw three large flowers in the center of your Archer and Olive Dot Grid Notebook using the brush tip.

Step 2

Little by little, keep adding flowers to the middle of the pages using different colors. I used lighter colors of Dual Brush Pens as the base of the flowers, and then darker shades to draw in floral details of the petals on top.

Step 3

Use shades of green markers to draw in leaves and other greenery coming from the center and going outward. Keep adding flowers, leaves and floral elements until the center of the pages is nice and full!

Step 4

Next, take the gold Acrylograph Pen to draw in gold details to each of the flowers and leaves. I also added small gold dots around the flowers to fill in any empty spaces.

Step 5

The last step is to write in the page details. Use the Tombow Fudenosuke Hard Tip Brush Pen to write in the titles of the pages. On the left page I wrote "Before Baby Arrives" and on the right page I wrote "Hospital Packing List". Then I used the Tombow MONO Drawing Pen 02 to draw the header line and bullets down the page!

And you're done! I love how these pages turned out in my bullet journal! With everything on my mind, it'll be nice to get everything down on paper and have a hard list of what I need to get done and what I want to pack to prepare for this little one's arrival!
